The Washing Stone is a gripping, dark love story.

Aye, at the washing stone, you'll join us? Here, she says, we see the landowner's daughter. What is it that happens to her Storyteller? She suffers. She toils. She washes. She is cast out. Love's hot breath melts the winter snow of her discontent, but not for long...Does love save her, can it heal?

An Incident at the Border starts with Arthur and Olivia sitting on a park bench; Olivia is reading a newspaper while Arthur looks at the ducks in the pond. Olivia reads from the newspaper that part of the country has become independent, which surprises both of them. Reiver then appears with a role of tape which he fixes along the ground, over the bench between Olivia and Arthur and as far as the duck pond. This he announces is the border. Arthur is in a foreign country without a passport. How will he get back?
